How do I play?

Answer Rescue Calls to take in pets. Tap a pet to feed, cuddle, play, bathe, train, or visit the vet. When a pet is healthy and happy, families can adopt them. Tap End Day to see what happened overnight. Check Today's Goals on the Shelter screen for ideas.

Which mode should I pick?

Shelter Helper is recommended for kids: coins come easy and there are no scary surprises. Shelter Manager adds a real budget. Shelter Director is a tough nonprofit challenge where you can run out of money.

Where are my saved rescues?

Everything saves automatically on your device after every action. You can have up to 8 rescues. Open Settings → Switch Rescue to see them all. Because saves live only on your device, deleting the app erases your rescues. Updating the app keeps them.

I don't hear any sounds

The game follows your device's silent switch and volume. Also check Settings in the game, where you can turn sound effects and pet voices on or off.

Why can't a pet be adopted yet?

Open the pet's page. The "Before they can be adopted" list shows what's left, like vaccines, settling in after arriving, or feeling brave. Families also look for specific pets, so check the morning recap to see what they're hoping for.
